Seneca Marine Bait & Tackle, Watkins Glen, NY

DECEMBER - 2007

Stephen Harding with a 2.5lb Rainbow Trout out of Catherine Creek, caught on an egg sack.

Davy Schmidt brought in this bucket 'o bass on 12/11/07, along with some really nice perch, but all we could get out of him was that he was using shiners and caught them somewhere on Seneca Lake... "To tell would be cheating!" he said with a big grin...

Bob Gulich of Elmira got this sizable three-year-old 6 point buck on opening morning. It dressed out at a delectable 182 lbs.!!! Bon Appetite, Bob!!!

John Laughlin took this nice 167 lb. buck the second week of bow season. Nice shooting, John!

Corey Redditt and the Marsh boys with another nice bunch of ducks taken from Seneca Lake on the last day of early season 12/06. We've been really getting on them the past couple weeks. You'll notice the boat in the background bought at Seneca Marine this spring.

NOVEMBER - 2007

On the morning of 11/25/07, Eric Davis and Ryan Mueller shot this nice brace of ducks, here in Watkins Glen. Consisting of 3 mallards and a coot, Eric pulled his into range of his Remington 870 12 ga. with an Original Duck Commander, while Ryan Lure got his into range of his Mossburg 500 12 ga. with a Quackhead J-Frame. A pair for each pair, and don't spare the gravy!!!

Mr. DePue caught this beautiful pair of Brown Trout in Catherine Creek using egg sacs on 11/21/07. The male was a nice 26" 7lbs., while the female was a respectable 22" and 3 lbs. Nice catch young sir!

Brad Barber shot this awesome looking buck on 11/22 in Interlaken. He is a 13pt and was 160lbs.

Congratulations are due J. Hopper, who got this 175 lb. 9-pointer on 11/7/07with bow and 100Gr. Thunderheads. Good deer J.!!

Dave Barber shot this nice 183 lb. 8 pointer on opening day, just away from Skyline Drive with his 12 Ga. Nice one Dave!

Also on opening day, in the Altay area, Bob Stanton dropped this really nice 177 lb. 10 pointer instantly with a shot to the neck. Also on opening day, in the Altay area, with his 12 Ga. Niicccceee, Bob, niiicccee!!!

Thomas Loney popped this 125 lb. 8 pointer shooting muzzy's in Newfield on 11/11/07. Good work!!!

Ron Thomas got this nice 6 point buck on the morning of 11/12/07, with muzzy broadheads in Barrington. Nice buck, Ron!

Max Freeman with a beautiful 16" Yellow Perch. Caught on 11/11/07 along the southeastern shoreline of Seneca Lake, on a live fathead minnow. This one tipped the scales at a very respectable 1.87 lbs. Way to go, Max!

Bill Treadwell with a monster smallmouth bass caught on the east side of Seneca Lake above Watkins Glen on 11/9/07. It was 21-3/4" long, and weighed in at a whopping 5.88 lbs, after 5 hours on a stringer. Caught on a live shiner he bought here, on a bottom rig - FROM SHORE!!!

Dana Haff with a nice 8 point buck taken 11/6/07 in Cayuga county. It weighed in at 170 lbs and was 18" inside 20-1/2" outside. Shot with Muzzy broadheads.

OCTOBER - 2007

Here's Bill Treadwell with this beautiful 23-1/2" 6-1/2 lb. smallmouth Bass he caught and sent to Mr. Dave Fish to be mounted. Isn't it gorgeous? Great work Bill AND Dave!!!

Mark Houck with 6 nice ducks off of Seneca on 10-25-2007 using his Ithaca Waterfowler and Remington heavy shot #6.

Bradley Johns 14, was in the woods with his dad Deek when Brad's radio said "he's coming at you, buddy". Brad was ready and made a decent shot. They couldn't find him that night, but they went right out the next morning and found him. He was a modest 8 point buck. Brad has shot bows since he was about 4 and has dreamed about getting his own buck since he was old enough to comprehend it... Awesome job, both of you!

Dave Baranyk with a nice 29" 8lb Pike caught 10/18/07 in Seneca Lake, past the 2nd salt plant, east side using a green & white spoon.

SEPTEMBER - 2007

John Marsh with a 28 inch, 8 lb brown tout. Caught while trolling using a purple and white stinger, behind a dipsy diver, all from Seneca Marine!

Wayne and Howie on 09-19-07 with a 13lb muskie caught out of Waneta Lake on a hemlock spinner with a pike shiner

Tex Avolin on 09-19-07 with a 5lb. large mouth caught out of Cayuta Lake using a red and chartreuse spinner bait

Mike with a 7lb. 3oz. rainbow trout caught just south of Peach Orchard Point using a great lakes silver/blue spoon on 9/18/07

Betty with 2 nicer lakers out of Seneca on 9-13-07 using sawbellies.

Fred and Skip with 2 nice lakers7.9 and 6.0 lbs out of the south end of Seneca Lake on northern kings on 9-13-07.

Don with 3 nice lakers all in 5lb. range out of the south end of Seneca Lake on 09-13-07 using an e-chip.

AUGUST - 2007

Dave Baranyk with 6-3/4 pound lake trout caught on a purple & black lure, at the next point up from Hector Falls on 8/29/07.

Gary, Billy and Bill with 4 nice pike caught on 8/28/07 using rattle traps and krocodiles.

Fred and Tony Tucker with an 8lb brown trout from out in the south east corner of Seneca Lake on 8-25-07. Caught on northern king purple and green lures

Dave Baranyk with a 5 lb lake trout caught on 08/23/07

Matt and Tuck Kautz with an 18.3 lb stringer of bass. Matt got the lunker! Cayuga Lake, Aug. 18th

Mike Just with a 6lb 24in. northern pike caught on 08/16/07 from the public fishing pier using a red and white spinner bait

Dave Stratton's grandson with a monster cray fish out of Glen Creek. The crayfish was returned to the creek.

JULY - 2007

Augie Gates, Larry Field, and Max Freeman (aka 'the 3 Amigos') - with summer trout from Seneca Lake. Good job boys!

Lloyd (and Lloyd) States with some nice lakers caught on 7/26/07 8.6lbs and 5.5 were the two largest. They were pulling copper on the west side of Seneca with twin minnows.

Gary Wood with 2 Pike and one Small Mouth Bass that was 17in. long and 3.5lbs. Caught on 07-24-07

Greg Chalmers with a 36" Northern Pike caught at Lodi point using pike minnows from your shop on 07/21/07

JANUARY - 2007

Steven Tarby caught this 12+ pound Pike off Peach Orchard using a saw belly under a bobber. The minnow was about 5 feet down. NICE CATCH!
